About

I have been working in product design for many years, and it has been the focus of my career. Previously, I worked for several Japanese advertising agencies—around 20+ years of experience in digital products combined with a background in animation and coding. Through qualitative research and user testing interviews, I base my work on human-centered design.

I've helped several startups to grow up building their products. I led small design teams from concept work to ready-to-ship products.

Before Sketch and Figma came to rule the design world, I created one of the most used plugins for Photoshop CC to export assets in the very early ages of mobile design.

    I've collaborated on creating the brand and core design of the products and conducted qualitative research interviews to improve the product to test new ideas and concepts through animations and interactive prototypes.
    Working in a high-paced collaboration with the engineering team.

    2019 - 2021

    Helped startups to improve their products and services leading design projects, creating design systems and foundations for future products.
    Created interactive prototypes using Figma, ProtoPie or directly with javascript.

    Interaction Designer

    2015 - 2019

    4 amazing years creating sacrificial concepts, designs, experiences, animations, and prototypes, physical and digital, for well-known international Japanese brands and aerospace agencies.
    Participated in national and international qualitative research through user interviews and concept testing.

  4. Coiney

    Product Designer

    2014 - 2015

    Renewed the interface and experience of the mobile and tablet applications. Created all the new visual designs for the app, as well as user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, videos, and CG animations.
